Where sound becomes skill
We turn curiosity into practical audio expertise through hands-on learning
Since 2024, Belkrax has been helping students master sound design through structured workshops. Our approach combines technical depth with creative experimentation, giving you tools to shape audio with confidence and precision.
How we built this platform
Most online education feels disconnected from real work. Students watch videos, complete assignments, but rarely get their hands on the actual creative process. We started Belkrax to bridge that gap.
Our workshops focus on deliberate practice. You work with professional tools, make mistakes in a safe environment, and learn to troubleshoot problems as they arise. Each session is designed to build on the previous one, creating a structured path from basic concepts to complex techniques.
We deliberately keep class sizes manageable. With no more than 15 participants per workshop, instructors can provide individual feedback and address specific challenges. This isn't about passively absorbing information—it's about actively developing skill through repetition and refinement.
Sound design requires both technical understanding and creative judgment. Our curriculum balances theory with application, teaching you not just what buttons to press, but why certain decisions produce better results. Every technique is demonstrated, then practiced until it becomes intuitive.
Workshop structure
Each session runs 3-4 hours with structured exercises, live feedback, and collaborative review. You complete assignments between meetings, receiving detailed critiques that help you improve systematically.

Tutorials show you steps. Workshops teach you to make decisions. You practice techniques repeatedly with feedback until they become second nature, building problem-solving skills rather than just following instructions.
You need a computer capable of running modern audio software and headphones that provide accurate sound reproduction. Specific software recommendations and system requirements are provided when you enroll in a workshop cycle.
Every assignment receives detailed critique focused on specific improvements. Instructors point out technical errors and suggest alternative approaches, helping you understand why certain methods work better than others in specific contexts.
